Privacy policy
Your screen readings never leave your browser. This page explains the little we do store, and why.
Do you collect my screen data?
No. Resolution, pixel ratio, refresh rate and your measured screen size are all worked out in your browser. None of it is sent to us.
What is stored in my browser?
Your inches or centimeters choice is saved in local storage, so it stays the same on your next visit. A screen size you measure is kept in session storage and is deleted when you close the tab.
You can clear both on the cookie settings page.
Do you use analytics?
We use Google Analytics to count visits and tool use, and never send screen values to it. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked first, and analytics stays off until they agree.
What happens when I click an Amazon link?
The link passes through our server, which picks the Amazon store for your country. We log the date, the product, the store and the type of page, but not your IP address.
Amazon's own privacy policy applies once you reach Amazon.
Who else handles requests to this site?
The site is hosted by Hostinger and delivered through Cloudflare. Like any web service they may keep short technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability.
How do I contact you about privacy?
Use the details on the contact page. Our terms of use cover the rest of how the site works.
